Harley Davidson Craze: Kick Ass Motorcycle Art By Michael Knepper

Michael Knepper Said – The boundary between illustration and painting is not clearly defined, since the final product is always an image that is ultimately to individual interpretation. As an illustrator I provide mostly from themed images.
My paintings, however, are created under a different premise. Here I can work more as an artist-free, spontaneous and creative. I am often asked what I was the real ‘. Illustrator, painter, or just the artist who paints the pictures I do not care: It is ultimately the product of my work, that is the image that is in the foreground.
I am a big fan of Frank Frazetta. His strong, powerful imagery and his style have inspired me greatly and motivated. More role models for me were Renato Casaro with his movie posters, Gottfried Helnwein and his devilish perfection and of course the old masters like Caravaggio and JDDavid.
